Tenaya Lake is located along the Tioga Road about seven miles west of Tuolumne Meadows. The road weaves through Yosemite's dramatic high country, with scenic stops at such spots as Olmsted Point, where views into Tenaya Canyon are spectacular. The area is usually open from Memorial Day (May 31) through the end of October, though weather conditions can cause the dates to change.
