To contact the Chief Ranger, write to P.O. Box 577, Yosemite, CA 95389. The Chief Ranger's office is located on the second floor of the NPS Valley Administration Building.

... the jail?
Call the Law Enforcement Office at (209) 372-0245 prior to visiting. People must have approved business. It is located in NPS Firehouse building near the NPS maintenance yard and gas pumps. A door immediately to the right of the large Firehouse garage doors is marked "Law Enforcement Office" and leads upstairs to the second floor.
