The Merced Grove of Giant Sequoias is our most intimate collection of this immense species. We have a chance to sleep in the historic ranger cabin, to experience 24 hours of life among the giants while we learn about their ecology and this grove's history. We'll backpack in our food and sleeping bags, and sleep cozy on pads on the cabin's floor. We'll start and finish mid-day; there is no before/after lodging reserved with this course.
